Radio Slovakia International announced, " RSI : May 2020 Quiz : UNESCO in Slovakia Round 5". Last four quiz covered the man made heritage list of UNESCO. May focused on the beauty of Slovakia, the natural heritage list. 
Slovakia has 7100 cave, but only 30 of them are open for visitors. Six of them are in UNESCO World Heritage List.  Dobšinská Ice Cave or Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa is one of them.

Dobšinská Ice Cave 

Dobšinská Ice Cave or Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa is located in Slovak Paradise Mountain in Eastern Slovakia. This cave was discovered in the year 1870 and since 1871 opened for public. Dobšinská Ice Cave is the biggest Ice Cave in Slovakia. There are 110,000 cubic meters of ice in this cave according to the year 1995. But in the year 1894 it was recorded 125,000 cubic meter. The inside temperature of this cave is Zero to Minus Four, with an average -2 degree Celsius. Considering the depth and length, it is the largest ice cave in world, This cave turns the first electrically lit cave in Europe in the yera 1887.
By September 2019 only 7,171 square meters are discovered, and 8,874 square meters yet to discover.  Dobšinská ľadová jaskyňa lies 130 m above the Hnilec River, and the entrance is at an altitude of 971 m.
