Radio Prague February Quiz 2017

Radio Prague February Quiz 2017 focused their question on a Czech writer, who died 20 years ago in this 03 February.  The author regarded as one of the best Czechs writers of the 20th century.  He was born in the city of Brno on 28 March 1914 to an unmarried mother, Marie Božena Kiliánová. Brno was then the province of Moravia within Austria-Hungary.

Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation - SLBC Golden Jubilee First Day Cover এর উদ্বোধন করলো শ্রীলংকা পোষ্ট এর ফিলাটেলিক ব্যুরো। পুলাস্তি ইদ্রিভেরা (Mr. Pulasthi Ediriweera) এর ডিজাইনকৃত ১০ টাকা (শ্রীলংকান রুপি) মূল্যমানের এই ষ্ট্যাম্পের সাথে উন্মোচন করা হয়েছে একটি ফার্ষ্ট ডে কভার-ও। 

ইতিহাসে চলে গেল DSWCI

DSWCI বা "The Danish Shortwave Clubs International" ইতিহাসের অংশ হয়ে গেল। ৩১ ডিসেম্বর ২০১৬ আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে বন্ধ হয়ে গেল DSWCI এর সকল কার্যক্রম।

Radio Inyabutatu : No more SW

"Listeners are the power of radio station"- Radio Inyabutatu, realized it better. Due to lack of shortwave listeners Radio Inyabutatu said good bye to the SW service. Their shortwave slot has been taken over seamlessly, by another group of anti-Kagame exiles, this time in New York. It has been effected from  Nov 6, 2016.

“55th ANNIVERSARY OF RADIO HAVANA CUBA CONTEST”

On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Radio Havana Cuba, [shortwave station] invites listeners to participate in a competition marking that important date.

The question you must answer is as follows:

How do you evaluate the permanence of Radio Havana Cuba in the shortwave bands and its programming, 55 years after its foundation?

The jury will award 5 Prizes and 50 Mentions, consisting in Cuban handicrafts and souvenirs from our station.

Deadline:  December 31st, 2016.

রেডিও ভানুয়াতু (Radio Vanuatu) সূবর্ণ জয়ন্তী পালন করা হচ্ছে ৫ দিন ব্যাপী উৎসবের মাধ্যমে। Republic of Vanuatu পশ্চিম প্যাসিফিক এর ৮০টি দ্বীপ নিয়ে গঠিত একটি ত্রিভাষিক স্বাধীন দ্বীপরাষ্ট্র। রেডিও ভানুয়াতু হলো দেশটির একমাত্র সরকারী সম্প্রচার কেন্দ্র, যা দেশটির জাতীয় সম্প্রচার সংস্থা VBTC দ্বারা পরিচালিত।
