English Service of Radio Slovakia
International launched a year-round quiz contest covering Slavkia's nature,
tradition or culture, and Costume. In 2021,
Radio Slovakia International has prepared its yearlong competition series on
Slovakia's Castle, "Once there was a Castle." From February until
November, RSI will bring you an exciting feature with a question at the end
once a month. If you have the answer, send it to RSI. Radio Slovakia English
will draw one winner from all the correct answers they receive at the end of
the month.

Radio Slovakia Internation, 2021's series
starts in February. RSI starts the series with the most spooky one - Čachtice
castle and its infamous inhabitant, the Bloody Countess Elizabeth Bathory!

build the Čachtice as a sentry on the road to Moravia.
After the other two renowned families Matthew Csák

and the Stibor
, Elizabeth
Báthory belonged to this castle. Its surrounding lands and villages were
wedding gifts from the Nádasdy
family
upon Elizabeth's marriage to Ferenc Nádasdy in 1575.
Now the
Question of February 2021, the first round of the series, "Once
there was a Castle."
